If you are searching for a place in Asheville to release your inner child, this is the place for it. My two daughters played for a while and enjoyed every minute of it. Now, if you have kids who never even touch, let alone heard, of an arcade, don't worry, the movements and colors will excite them. I wish and hope the museum will bring more classic arcades such Double Dragon, Teenage Mutant Turtles, and X-Men. The collection is so grand that if you are a fan of the classics arcades and pinballs, your eyeballs will fall out in joy. The museum has classic Starfox, Super Mario, and Sonic. There are so many classics- Metallica Pinball, 1942, Joust, Pac-Man, and etc. It will be very difficult for anyone to be bored who come here to play. There are so many arcades and pinball games. Now, I'm not sure if you can leave the place and return, but it wouldn't surprise me if you could return without repaying to play.
What does that mean to you? It means that you can play all day long until closing. Now, once you pay to play, you can play all the games until your heart's content. If you just want to look around and not play, you can enter without paying any admission. The price to enter is $15 per adult and $12 per child under 10- THIS ADMISSION IS TO PLAY FOR THE GAMES. I have never seen anything like in my entire life. When I saw this on Trip Advisor, I can say that I was thoroughly excited to come here. The Asheville Pinball Museum is the PERRRFECT place to play many of the games that RULED the 1980s and 1990s. Its in an artsy neighborhood well known for its great selection of breweries and restaurants.
